The most important thing I have learned is to trust the process.

I am a mission-driven, proven design leader. From behavior science to design, I have spent my career making connections to people. My passion for making a difference and for impeccable design drives me. I use empathy and intuition as well as qualitative and quantitative data to determine the causes of problems and evaluate possible solutions. My collaborative nature and design background enable me to connect with clients, build teams, and create elegant solutions that meet needs and delight users.

In my current role, I have built a successful team of UX and visual designers that is recognized for their impact on projects and on the business. As a user experience designer, I am comfortable with all parts of the process—from research and discovery to ideation and design. I default to a collaborative process, engaging team members, stakeholders, and users in order to develop the best solutions for everyone.

I have run my own art business for over 20 years. Earlier in my career, I worked in behavior analysis. I devised experiments and analyzed data to create successful treatment solutions for children with severe behavior disorders. The idea of a field that combines psychology, solving problems for people and design was eye-opening to me. 

What I really enjoy most is digging in to discover pain points and create innovative solutions that positively impact people’s lives. I am still as enamored with the potential to use technology for good as I was when I started. I am always looking to challenge myself and to learn.
